The Puri branch Ashram of Bharat Sevashram Sangha is completing 100 years this year in 2025 of Glorious Service to the humanity since its establishment in 1926 by none other than Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj.
A committee has been formed for this purpose consisting of the prominent personalities along with the Sangha monks and various events and programmes have been chalked out by the committee to commemorate this momentous occasion in a useful and befitting manner.

: ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION :
Celebration of the 100 Years of Puri Branch : An Essay Writing Competition on the TOPIC "The Contribution of Yugacharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj for building a Globalisede India" is another part of the Centenary programme of Puri branch. This is competition is for the UG and PG students of Universities in Odisha only. The topic in Odia is "ବିଶ୍ଵାୟିତ ଭାରତ ଗଠନରେ ଯୁଗାଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୀମତ୍ ସ୍ଵାମୀ ପ୍ରଣବାନନ୍ଦଜୀ ମହାରାଜଙ୍କ ଅବଦାନ।"
The Cash Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd are Rs. 20,000/-, Rs. 15,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- only each for Odia and English category. The prizes will be awarded in November 2025 to the winners of the competition on the occasion of Cenetenary Celebration of Puri branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha to be held in Puri.
We are pleased to invite the Hon'ble Vice Chancellors of Universities of Odisha. The students can make contact with their respective University for the same. We look forward to receive the Essay Writing from the eligible students in each category.
: WRESTLING COMPETITION :
As a part of celebration of the 100 Years of Puri Branch, a Wrestling Competition was conducted on 17th and 18th May 2025 at Barabati Jaga, Harachandi Sahi, Puri under the guidance of Swami Samidhanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of Puri branch of the Sangha.
Swami Jitatmanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Gangasagar branch; Swami Divyajnananandaji Maharaj, Swami Omprakashanandaji Maharaj, Swami Brahmamayanandaji Maharaj, Swami Someshwaranandaji Maharaj, Swami Ballavanandaji Maharaj, Swami Bisheshanandaji Maharaj joined the event coming from different parts of India.
Dignitaries present were Sri Subhasish Khuntia, Hon'ble Rajya Sabha M.P., Sri Jayanta Sarangi, Ex MLA, Vinit Agrawal, SSP and others.
Senior Boys, Sub Junior Boys and Girls consisting of 13 categories took part in this All Odisha Wrestling Competition organised by the Puri Branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha commemorating 100 years of service to humanity by the Puri branch since 1926. Prizes were distributed to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank holders of each Group by the Sannyasins of the Sangha and the Guests dignitaries.
